A 10-step approach to managing complex individuals with sexual convictions
An 80 minute webinar download
A 10-step approach to managing complex individuals with sexual convictions aims to guide practitioners in developing defensible – rather than defensive – risk management plans that maximise the chances of complex individuals reintegrating into the community in order to lead an offence-free life.
Dr Jackie Craissati has 30 years experience of working with individuals with sexual convictions, and of increasing complexity, and she has played a central role in developing community services for such offenders who have pervasive personality difficulties; with a strong track record in service evaluation, Dr Craissati has always focused on learning from ‘failure’.
During this webinar, Kerry Beckley will join Jackie Craissati in conversation about her 10-step approach, before opening up the webinar to questions and comment from the audience. The webinar is set at an intermediate level, suitable for criminal justice and forensic mental health colleagues who already have an understanding of risk assessment tools, as well as the static and dynamic variables of relevance to managing individuals with sexual convictions.
