Psychological Approaches is a not-for-profit community interest company focused on work with individuals with complex mental health needs - often associated with a history of offending and social exclusion - for whom services are difficult to access, and sometimes poorly equipped to meet their needs.

We are a small company, intentionally.  Our ethos is one of collaboration and partnership with other organisations. Together, we can support  the work force with a focus on development in four areas: commitment to the task, competence and confidence in the delivery of the service, and containment of emotional states to improve staff well being.  We believe that skills enhancement, reflective practice and knowledge acquisition enable practitioners to better manage challenges in the workplace, in a way which is responsive to the needs of the service user and the organisation.

We attend to the evidence base for best practice, and in so doing, we can help organisations to re-design and evaluate services in order to achieve better outcomes. With constrained resources, we understand how important it is to focus on improved quality of care, delivered in ways to maximise efficiency and impact.
